For this recipe, it is best if you use a Vitamix blender or a high-quality food processor, but a regular blender should work too.
Ingredients: 6-8 ripe bananas, 1 cup fresh mint leaves, 3 cups spinach, 1 tablespoon of raw carob powder or 1 raw carob pod, and 1/2 vanilla bean or 1 tablespoon of non-alcoholic vanilla extract
Wash your spinach, mint, and carob pods. Blend bananas and vanilla in the blender or food processer. Reserve half of the blended bananas in a separate container, and add the carob to this portion. Then add spinach and mint to the remainder, and blend until smooth. Pour the two mixtures into a large cup one at a time, alternating between the carob and mint. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
